Nigerian Gospel Star David Ekene To Grace Down Syndrome Charity Show This Friday

Nigeria gospel music star, David Ekene will this Friday headline a charity concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

The My Tomorrow Must be greater than today hitmaker will be performing alongside Uganda’s gospels crooners including; Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Exodus, Levixone, Dangelo Busuulwa, Joseph Ngoma, Simon Mirembe, and a dance group.

Proceeds from the show organised by Irene Nabbosa Kröger under her Irene Kroger Foundation, will go towards helping children with Down Syndrome.

The show will be held this Friday at Lugogo Cricket Oval

Down syndrome is a chromosomal condition that occurs when an error in cell division results in an extra chromosome 21. Down syndrome can affect a person’s cognitive ability and physical growth, cause mild to moderate developmental issues, and present a higher risk of some health problems.

Irene recently revealed that she was touched seeing kids in in this condition, with parents who are in terrible need of help. Thus her bid to assist, by launching a campaign that will help her gather some little money, to be able to construct for them a home.

Ekene’s “Greater Tomorrow” album includes songs like; Yeshua arise, Smile again, Hallelujah, Rabonni praise among others.
