Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has heaped praise on his daughter, Pastor Patience Rwabwogo for writing a book he says links the NRM ideology to the Bible.
President Museveni made the remarks at the launch of Pastor Patience’s book titled “Jesus’ Africa” on Friday, saying “She is correct in saying that we sold our birthright as Africans by being greedy and selling our brothers into slavery.”
“Patience is trying to say that if we do not protect our birthright, the enemy will come and steal it. We must protect it,” President Museveni said.
He added, “I also thank Patience for introducing our family to the line of Christian leadership being the 1st priest in the family. She has showed us that you can be a cattle keeper and also a priest. I congratulate her!”
The 461-page book is a transformational piece, where Patience, the lead pastor of Covenant Nations Church, also tells her encounter with God through different stages of life.
