Nairobi Catholic Priest Dies in Guest House Where he’d gone with female friend

The Kenyan 43-year-old Catholic priest who died in a lodge where he had gone with his female friend will be laid to on Thursday

St Peters Catholic Church in Ruai, where the man of God served, is already preparing for his burial after holding his requiem mass on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the church.

A local media outlet, on Sunday, disclosed that the deceased, identified as Joseph Kariuki Wanjiku, from St. Peters Ruai, checked into the Monalisa Hotel Delview in Gatanga with his lover, a 32-year-old woman identified as, Ruth Nduhi on Saturday evening.

According to a police report, the lady informed the hotel management on Sunday morning that the clergy was experiencing dizziness and losing consciousness befire breathing his last.

According to reports, the priest will be laid to rest at the Clergy Cemetery after a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Msongari grounds.
